What matters most to us is the quality of the team, the scalability of the model, and the clarity of the investment story, rather than a strict industry limitation.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the project. Each week, our internal committee reviews new opportunities to assess their readiness for fundraising.

For the most mature startups, with strong traction, already committed investors and a complete data room, the committee may decide to work on a success-fee basis.

In other cases, we may charge consulting fees to support the preparation phase (refining the equity story, financial model, and investor materials) to ensure the company is fully investor-ready before starting the fundraising process.

How long does it take to close the round?

The timeline depends on the maturity of the project.

If the company is already well-prepared (clear equity story, financial model, and complete data room), a fundraising round typically takes around 6 to 10 months from the start of investor outreach to closing.

If additional preparation is needed to make the company fully investor-ready, a preparation phase of a few weeks may be required before launching the fundraising process.

Is it mandatory to raise through an investment bank?

No, some founders successfully raise capital on their own, leveraging their personal network of VCs and their experience from previous fundraising processes.

If they are also able to keep the business running at the same time, that can work very well.

However, fundraising is often time-consuming and highly process-driven. Working with an investment bank can help save valuable time, structure the process, refine the equity story, and open the right doors of investors, while founders can focus on maintaining traction and growing the business.
